EXTRAMURAL ACTIVITIES

The thrilling features of the venues selected is in that they are not just a photographer's haven. Abundant wildlife roam these areas. These may include Elephant, Lion, huge herds of Buffalo, Eland, Impala, Kudu, Giraffe and many more. The bird life is staggering with over 350 species to be viewed.

Apart from game, wildfowl, birds and fish, Africa has much more to tweak one's curiosity and to amaze. The ancient Zimbabwe ruins stand today in their splendor. Because of the absence of a written history much of Africa's ancient history is shrouded in the mists of time. The original builders and their inhabitants will never be known with certainty. The magnificent Victoria Falls on the mighty Zambezi left the African explorer and missionary, David Livingstone, awe struck when he saw them for the first time. The local people call them "Moa-tse-Tunya" - the "Smoke that Thunders." Today the Victoria Falls Hotel offers fine accommodating with a world class golf course that has one unique rule. If your ball lies dangerously close to a crocodile you may drop a ball without incurring a penalty.

Why not kill two birds with one stone! Allow us put together a hunting package in conjunction with a fishing trip; arrangement can be made to hunt for Kudu, Nyala, and Impala, Blesbuck, Springbuck, Bush Pig, Warthog and Baboon and for even a greater challenge, head up into the rugged high country and attempt to hunt the elusive Mountain Reedbuck, Vaal Rhebuck or Fellow deer.

If wing shooting is your aspiration we have some of the finest. Approximately 96 000 hectares have been made available to hunt Guinea Fowl, Franklin, Pheasant, Spur Wing Geese, Egyptian Geese and Quail.
